1. Do business owners pay you to list their businesses?
No! Listing a business for money is also not allowed. Our list should be accurate and unbiased; accepting money for a business listing, or asking for money to list a business, does exactly the opposite! With @digitalprasen, you won’t find just a bunch of businesses on our list. Life can be saved, an immigrant can learn a new city, a family goes through a divorce and memory can be made. Three Best Rated would be tainted if it accepted payment for listing a business.
2. Then… what is Three Best Rated’s revenue model?
@digitalprasen makes money by displaying ads on its site. @digitalprasen is free for both customers and businesses because our revenue is tied to ads! We do not gather personal information about our users from these ads.
3. What makes you pick only three businesses?
We understand that everyone has different tastes, so we wanted to give you options to choose from. There were enough choices on the list to satisfy individual tastes, but we wanted to keep it small enough so it wouldn’t be overwhelming. In our own experience, we realized that three was the perfect number to achieve those goals. Four Best Rated would have been weird anyway :^)
4. Why should I submit my business when there are already three listed?
By submitting your business, we can find your business using an algorithm! In general, it is accurate, but on rare occasions, it may miss a business; this allows us to correct the mistake if we don’t catch it ourselves. In addition, sometimes not all the information is available online, for example, certain awards may not show up, so we always recommend that you provide your business information so we can ensure our records are complete and accurate.
5. What are the best businesses in your opinion?
Our 50-point inspection helps us select the best businesses. This includes everything from reviews, business reputation, cost, and satisfaction, to the general excellence.
6. Is every business covered by the full 50-point inspection?
In a nutshell, no. The majority of the points mentioned here are applicable to all businesses, but not every one of them.
7. What is the source of the information?
Our information comes from a variety of sources across the web. We probably have seen it online! Customers also email us and we have online partners who help collect information. Almost all business information (emails, phone numbers, addresses) comes directly from the businesses.
8. Is Three Best Rated in every shop?
We don’t. That’s the short answer. Business is run by humans, and humans have bad days. XYZ’s performance on Jan 4, 2020 is irrelevant; we want to know how it performs on average. The fact that we don’t know the owner, we don’t know the staff, and we don’t feel compelled to list them further enhances our unbiased view of the business. Here, as a customer, you play an important role. Let us know if you feel there was a mistake, noticed a business closed, or receive Cobb salads when you know you ordered Caesar!
9. What is the average number of businesses you review per city?
It depends on the city’s size. The burden of many businesses naturally falls to larger cities, while smaller cities cannot handle it. A typical answer is in the thousands, if not tens of thousands, but there is no “right” answer.
10. Why do you not post negative reviews on your website?
Our goal at @digitalprasen is to help you find the best businesses. Negative reviews are not posted since they make it harder to decide. It is true that we see all negative reviews and take them into consideration. Our site is not a review site, but a ranking site. To determine which businesses are the best, we compile all the reviews, both negative and positive. In order to determine the best businesses, reviews are only one component of the puzzle. In other words, we go through the reviews so you don’t have to.
11. What is the duration of my visit to your website?
Minimum of one year (except in extreme cases, such as negative court cases or business closures). Reevaluation is done after about a year. As a result, we are able to grow and encourage healthy competition, as well as ensure our list is accurate.
What is your opinion of a business? Let us know!
12. How often does your website get updated?
To keep our website up-to-date, we update it daily. As discussed in question 5, the top three businesses change yearly (except in rare cases).
13. Are the positions of the businesses on the page significant? Could mine be changed?
A business’s position has no meaning. All of the businesses listed are equal! As a fairness measure, we don’t number our listings, and we don’t allow you to change your position. By doing this, a firm can eliminate any bias or unfair advantages it may possess over another one.
14. Is the discount listed valid?
Businesses themselves offer discounts. Even though we try to ensure that the discounts are accurate, @digitalprasen makes no claims about their validity.
Having said that, if you were unable to utilize a discount, let us know so we can remove it.
15. We are listed among the best! How can we market ourselves?
Feel free to share it on social media, your website, basically wherever you can! Press releases in your local newspaper are always a great way to get the word out! Logos on vans and trucks are also popular. Some businesses even have signs on their storefronts.
The most important thing to do to promote your award is to let people know about it! Send us an e-mail at support@@digitalprasen.com for help promoting your business.
16. When a typo is discovered, a business is closed, a link is broken, or a business’ information is incorrect, what should I do?
Let us know! Send us an email at support@@digitalprasen.com or use our contact form.
Check out our Update Business page for instructions if you want to update your business information.
17. How is it possible for businesses in the same category to have different bar charts with different variables?
Despite the fact that the business evaluation and ratings are based on the 50-point inspection data, the bar chart for each business is based on its specific features and elements. Each business has its own set of characteristics. When constructing the bar chart, we take into account only the variables that we can control. There are different bar charts for businesses in the same category because of that.
18. Does @digitalprasen have a policy against discriminatory businesses?
@digitalprasen lists only the best businesses, but we do not endorse or list any businesses that discriminate. An organization’s service should be available to all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
