The Danscentre is one of Aberdeen’s oldest and most prestigious dance schools.
It is our goal to provide students with comprehensive dance education and training that will establish a lifelong relationship with dance.
It is possible to learn to dance at the academy at all levels and ages.
In addition to SQA qualifications, we offer RAD, ISTD, and Higher Dance exams at Danscentre.
Teachers at the academy are trained in both Classical Ballet and ISTD Modern Theatre.

The Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts is an established dance school in Aberdeen, UK.
The classes at the dance school are fully structured so that children can develop and progress at their own pace.
Teams from the Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts rehearse throughout the year, participate in festivals and competitions across the UK, and tour abroad.
The dance school includes the largest dance studio in the North-East (18 x metres), a smaller dance/dramatic studio (8 x 9 metres), a singing and acting studio, waiting for areas, reception rooms, wardrobe and props rooms, male/female toilets, an office, CCTV cameras and a Police Panic Alarm system.
We have a sound system for tapes, CDs, iPods as well as Flat Screen TVs, DVD players, Harlequin Dance Flooring, pianos and a digital piano at Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts.

There is a vibrant and thriving dance school in Aberdeen, the UK called Aberdeen Academy of Dance.
